Language Policy on Teaching at the Institute
At the Private Higher Education Institution “Ukrainian Medical University”, the educational process is conducted in the state language, as well as in English and other foreign languages. This approach helps expand students’ opportunities for international academic mobility and integrate educational programmes into the global academic and research community.
Where individual subjects are taught in foreign languages to Ukrainian citizens, the Institute ensures that students also acquire the relevant course content in the state language.
Decisions on Teaching in Foreign Languages
Decisions on introducing foreign-language instruction for individual subjects, as well as determining which foreign languages may be used, fall within the remit of the Institute’s Academic Council.
Organisation of Education for International Students
The Institute provides the following arrangements for international students and stateless persons enrolled on a fee-paying basis:
- Separate study groups with instruction in a foreign language.
- Individual educational programmes tailored to students’ needs.
At the same time, the Institute ensures that Ukrainian is studied as a compulsory standalone subject, helping students adapt to the academic and professional environment in Ukraine.
