Life-Saving Skills
Students learn and practise injections, wound care, catheterisation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other essential practical skills.
Practical Training
Training covers basic and specialised clinical skills essential for students’ future professional practice.
Simulation-Based Learning Environment
Students practise clinical procedures using mannequins, simulators, anatomical models and specialised training equipment.
Modern Learning Facilities
Classrooms are equipped to support interactive learning, demonstrations, practical sessions and teamwork.
Facilities and Equipment
General Medical Simulation Centre
The General Medical Simulation Centre is designed to develop fundamental and clinically oriented practical skills. Students work with anatomical models, simulators, training models, mannequins and equipment used to practise medical care procedures and protocols.
The Centre is used in the teaching of basic medical sciences and clinical disciplines, as well as in preparation for practical classes and medical scenario simulations.
Simulation Centre – Dentistry
The Dental Simulation Centre provides practical training for students enrolled in the Dentistry programme. It enables them to practise basic dental procedures, instrument handling and techniques using jaw models, phantoms and dental training units.
This learning environment helps students make a gradual transition from theoretical study to the practical application of professional skills.
Simulation Centre – Pharmacy
The Pharmacy Simulation Centre provides training for students enrolled in the Pharmacy programme. The facility is equipped with educational display units, samples of medicinal products, pharmaceutical equipment and materials for simulating the professional activities of a pharmacist.
Students can familiarise themselves with the organisation of pharmaceutical practice, medicinal product storage requirements, basic patient counselling procedures and professional communication.
Educational and Rehabilitation Centre
The Educational and Rehabilitation Centre is used to train specialists in physical therapy and rehabilitation. It features equipment for practising therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques, as well as working with patients recovering from injuries, surgery or functional impairments.
This facility helps students develop practical skills in restoring mobility, maintaining physical function and designing individualised rehabilitation programmes.
Computer Laboratories
The Institute has three computer laboratories used for medical informatics classes, assessments, and work with electronic educational resources, digital platforms and specialised learning materials.
The computer laboratories help students develop digital literacy, analytical thinking and information management skills, all of which are essential components of modern medical education.
Classrooms
The Institute's classrooms are equipped for lectures, practical classes, seminars, interactive learning and small-group work. Facilities include multimedia equipment, educational models, teaching displays, microscopes and other resources that support effective learning.
Modern classroom equipment makes it possible to combine theoretical instruction with visual demonstrations and hands-on learning.
Conference Hall and Assembly Hall
The Institute has a conference hall and an assembly hall with a capacity of 450 people for academic, educational, organisational and student events. These facilities are used for conferences, meetings, presentations, guest lectures, official sessions and ceremonial events.
Multifunctional Sports Hall
The multifunctional sports facility provides opportunities for physical activity, sports, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and student recreational activities. Sports facilities are an important part of a comfortable and supportive educational environment.
