Medical Academic Consortium (MAC)

The Medical Academic Consortium (MAC) is a form of strategic cooperation between Kyiv Medical University, Kharkiv Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Ukrainian Medical University. It was established to advance modern medical education, research and international cooperation.

The Consortium enables the implementation of joint educational and research projects, improves the quality of training for future healthcare professionals, promotes academic mobility and supports the development of international initiatives.

Key Principles of the Consortium’s Activities

Implementation of joint educational and research programmes.

Adoption of common quality assurance standards for educational services.

Joint monitoring of the quality of the educational process.

Development of curricula and educational programmes by expert groups representing all three educational institutions.

Academic mobility for students, postgraduate students, doctoral students and academic staff.

Preparation and publication of joint teaching materials and research publications.

Development of mutually beneficial cooperation with public authorities, businesses and other partners.

Development, promotion and implementation of joint national and international projects.

Organisation of conferences, symposia, seminars, forums and other academic and educational events.
